My vision is to help experienced runners achieve their performance goals on the track, road, cross country or trail. I work to help you enjoy your running and embrace the great many ways in which running helps to empower us and teach us that we have no limitations in life. All your running programs will be personalised. We work together on the strategies, methods and pathways to create a steady improvement in your running performance.

Running is so many things, a competitive sport, a lifestyle, a mode of fitness, a mental health coach, a moving and breathing meditation, a means of communing with nature and a pathway to unlimited growth. You’ll experience all this and more with Love Running.
If your ambition is to get started with running, Love Running is what you’re looking for. My “Zero to Hero” 12 week course will get you fired up and achieving the ability to run a regular 5k in a safe and effective manner. You’ll learn so much about footwear, running gear, your mind and body and the world of running as the course progresses. Whatever your weight, your level of fitness or your age, with the right coaching we will get there together.

I began my fitness journey in 1982 when I walked into a ladies weight training gym in Sans Souci. During the 1980’s fitness boom that followed I went on to become an aerobics instructor, PT and managed two prominent local gyms. I also took up running in 1986 and soon found my way into running track. Training in an elite squad, I became a nationally ranked 800m runner and State Champion short course cross country runner.
I retired from competitive running in the mid 90’s, but at age 62 I still love my daily runs and the amazing health and wellbeing it gives to me. Running teaches us lessons every day. I love the empowerment and sense of greatness I find out there pressing my boundaries when running. This is definitely the way to live positively and age powerfully!
I am a Level 2 Running Coach and plant-based food coach who loves to create change in others’ lives by sharing my love of running and nutrition.
