Do you want to improve your speed, your endurance, your park runs or half marathons? Or do you want to take your first steps in running? Do the demands of family, career or distance make group training too hard? I offer online running coaching and mentoring which will help you to overcome these obstacles and achieve your goals.
I draw on my 35 years of training, including years in a squad of elite athletes training under the Arthur Lydiard system. I also have years of working with athletes across many sports and helping thousands of people in community fitness. I am a Level 2 Coach, certified by Athletics Australia and a student of Sport and Exercise Science (Charles Darwin University). All of this experience, my passion for helping runners achieve their goals and my highly regarded capacities to pull the right information together to create bespoke running programs are at your disposal.
When you get on board with my personal online coaching, we begin by going over your running history, understanding the surfaces and terrains in the localities where you run, forming a solid understanding of your physiology and capacities and listening to your running ambitions. Based on this information, I will provide your programs in one month blocks.
I will need feedback off you via email at least once a week, so that we establish a detailed training diary. I don’t mind if it is daily. If ever you have questions which demand an immediate response you can call or text me. I will respond rapidly to any communication from you.
Because these programs are all highly personalised, there are no hard and fast rules for program delivery. We work on the components of running which you need according to your current situation, the events you wish to participate in, your strengths, your weaknesses, your training cycle and ambitions.
If you are an already established runner, your program will be periodised to build endurance first as a foundation for speed endurance. This in turn will serve as a foundation for speed. In addition to running, your program may have weights and strength circuits and well as flexibility and mobility training. You will develop an excellent all round fitness through programs targeting strength, flexibility, endurance and speed. You will take your running to a whole new level.
My programs are logically laid out and easy to follow. Because of the consistent structure of my programs, we will always know what is working for you and what needs adjusting. Your strengths and weaknesses will become very clear and we can adjust your training accordingly. All this is built around your competition calendar or running goals.

My online coaching fees are $60 per month.
Zero to Hero courses run for 12 weeks and are conducted in a number of localities.
Each course is a fully inclusive program with everything you need to unleash your inner Hero.
Online coaching programs are ideal for you if your lifestyle or location precludes attending a running group.
