Our weekly training will include two aerobic running sessions for most runners but one day may also include a number of speed and strength enhancing sessions like tempo runs, break-ups, hills or interval training.
I follow in the methods of my coach, Bill Pratt, who in turn was coached by the great Arthur Lydiard. Lydiard was a New Zealand coach who trained a succession of athletes to produce some of the world’s greatest and most enduring performances and careers. I’ve repeatedly seen many athletes defy all expectations when trained by these methods and indeed experienced this myself.
I will begin by hearing your running history and running ambitions. I will examine your shoes, your footfall and gait and advise you accordingly. I will give you your programs in one month blocks.
I will need feedback in the form of a training diary from you via email every week. If ever you have questions which demand an immediate response you can call or text me. I will also send you an invite to our secret Facebook group where you can share your journey with the rest of the group.
In addition to running, your program may have weights and plyometrics as well as mobility training. You will develop an excellent all round fitness through programs targeting strength, flexibility, endurance and speed. You will take your running to a whole new level.
Coaching fees are $200 for 10 weeks. Includes all running and strength programs, 2 weekly group training sessions, gait and footfall analysis, access to private Facebook group and rapid response to all questions.
Zero to Hero courses run for 12 weeks and are conducted in a number of localities.
Each course is a fully inclusive program with everything you need to unleash your inner Hero.
